Hello again,
The "Class Chronicle" team: Annal Hanbali (who replaced Mohammad Kalbouneh), Mohammad "Criss" Oqdeh, Farouq Zamamiri & Kareem Talhouni have been videotaping interviews and random footage from the class. Farouq & Criss have also been doing some editing and Annal designed a very cool logo for our team. We want to thank our classmates and faculty, Joi and Donatella, for allowing us to tape the interviews and the action footage. We hope to have the final product up on YouTube soon nshAllah. It's been great getting to know all of you. Keep in touch.
Best,
Kareem

You know what is really needed is to increase women's confidence in their abilities. most females are brought up in way that they are dependent on males weather financially or socially. This is changing of course but in a slow motion . When women work, they will have their own funds as well as their own relations but when males convince them that there is no need for their work, some like the idea and consider it a sort of luxury unaware of the sacrifice they have made.

I've made a Flickr set for the workshop in my Photo stream and have started using the tag rfconlinemedia as my Flickr tag for photos of the workshop.

Hello all,
The "Class Chronicle" team (Mohammad Kalbouneh, Mohammad "Criss" Oqdeh, Farouq Zamamiri & Kareem Talhouni) plan to produce a documentary of the workshop as it progresses. We would like to find out from each one of you (including faculty) what brought you to this workshop, what you hope to acquire from it, a summary of your project and your plans for the future. Any other suggestions would be most welcome.
Here are some sample questions we will be asking:
1. Tell us a little about yourself.
2. Why did you want to take this workshop?
3. What suggestions, if any, do you have to improve the workshop?
Thanks in advance for your thoughtful answers to these questions and the others we will be asking.
Best,
Kareem

Thanks everyone for a wonderful first day. After the feedback and thinking a bit about what would be the most useful, I've modified the things we're going to cover and the order. Please see the image below.
Basically, we have 4 days with the teleconference with Al Jazeera on the third day. The 4th day is just a 2 hour session to evaluate the projects.
I've marked the topics with a 1-3 notation, each number being the day that I'm planning on covering that particular topic. Please give me feedback if you'd like to see other things covered or have thoughts on the order of what we're doing.
Also, the project team working on the "Video of Amman" has changed their focus to marketing. They will design a marketing and public engagement plan for the whole workshop as well as each of the topics. I'm thinking that we'll ask them to help everyone during the labs as well as make a 30 min or so presentation on day 2 or 3 depending on how things go.
